WICKED

We took a 1 day, 6 hour return train trip ride to the capital city of Korea, Seoul,  just to watch the very much acclaimed Broadway musical Wicked. In summary, the musical tells the story of the witches from the Wizard of Oz. I can't even begin to tell you how spectacular it was (and in English). The costumes, the music, everything was so enchanting.
In preparation for the show, we decided to refresh our memories by watching the Wizard of Oz the week before and I am glad we did, because Wicked tied up the story so nicely, I was smiling with glee.
I thoroughly enjoyed the show, as I do with most live productions. I love the idea that people are there on stage, there is no cut and retakes - it's so close to you that you almost feel part of the show. Really worth the pretty penny we paid. As if that wasn't enough, I bought the soundtrack (and fridge magnet) to keep the magic alive :)

A must see
